Laerskool Muldersdrif het ook skade gelei na ‘n tornado in Oktorber 2017 deur die gebied getrek het. Gelukkig kon die skool vinnig met herstelwerk begin en het hulle nuwe Graad 1’s en oudleerlinge met ope arms ontvang.

Elke Graad 1 leerder het saam met hul mamma en pappa tou gestaan voor die Kennieshek waartydens die skoolgelukbringer, Kennie-Muis hul behoorlik vermaak het.

‘n Dag voor die skooljaar van 2018 amptelik afskop het die News ‘n eksklusiewe toer deur die nuwe Laerskool Protearif gekry. Hoof Donna Lourens was stom geslaan oor wat die laaste paar maande verrig is – alles te danke aan die Krugersdorp gemeenskap.

Little Foot’s unveiling

Introducing Little Foot: South Africa’s oldest, virtually complete fossil human ancestor, previewed for the first time in a completely cleaned and reconstructed state. Professor Ron Clarke spent 20 years excavating and preparing the fossil. Now Clarke and a team of international experts are conducting a full set of scientific studies on it. The results of these studies are expected to be published in a series of scientific papers in high impact, peer reviewed international journals in the near future.
