Security guard saves the day

A brave security guard saved the day recently. It is alleged that just after midnight, the security guard was doing his rounds when he spotted three men carrying a house door and buckets of paint in Diswilmar, Muldersdrift.

When the men spotted the security guard, they dropped the paint and door and started running into the nearby bush.

The security guard pursued them and managed to catch one of the men. The police were called and the man was arrested.

The 20-year-old suspect will appear in court soon.

Lieutenant Colonel Mankotsho Setlhare thanked the guard for a job well done and for keeping the community safe.
