Body found with multiple gun-shot wounds

On the morning of Sunday, 30 July, Kagiso Police responded to a call from the community about a murder at about 8am.

According to Captain Solomon Sibiya, Kagiso Police spokesperson, they went to the scene immediately where they found the body of a 42-year-old man lying in a pool of blood in an open space near the ZCC Church.

The victim, who was identified as a well-known resident of Tshepisong West, had been shot in the upper body several times.

Kagiso Police have launched an investigation as well as a manhunt for the perpetrators who shot and killed the man.

The motive for the murder is not yet known. Police urges anyone with any information to call 011 696 9000/ 9065/ 9068 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111.
