The police in the West Rand Cluster arrested 376 suspects during the week of Monday, 3 to Sunday, 9 July.

The arrests were accompanied by excellent seizures of stolen and hijacked motor vehicles, and unlicensed firearms and ammunition.

Various crime prevention and intelligence-driven operations throughout the Cluster contributed to these successes.

Major General Anna Mateisi, cluster commander for the West Rand Cluster applauded the members for their diligence, professionalism and commitment towards securing the West Rand Cluster.

“The West Rand community can rest assured that, with their support, the men and women in this cluster will not allow the criminal elements to thrive. Together, we will make a difference,” said Mateisi.
