“Their laughter will make your heart melt. Their strength will make a grown person cry. If you ever see a child fight cancer, it will change your life forever.”

This quote, used by CURE Bears for Hope and Love, truly depicts what it is like seeing a child with cancer.

This is the sad reality for a girl known fondly as Mo, who attends St Ursula’s School. As she was diagnosed with a cancer that spread rapidly, and is currently undergoing chemotherapy, her school thought it best to host a Beanie Day, thus supporting her fight against it.

The school believes that she is part of the St Ursula’s family and they really wanted to show their love and support, so on this day, both teachers and learners had the chance to show how much they care by wearing a beanie for the day.
