The News, in conjunction with Nu Metro Key West, is giving away two double movie tickets this week.

To win these tickets answer this simple question:

In which year was the first movie in the Mummy franchise released?

Entries to be made before noon on Thursday, 15 June in order for you to stand a chance to win one of these tickets.

In the meantime see what’s new at the movies this week:

The Mummy (13 HV)

Welcome to a new world of gods and monsters… Thought safely entombed in a tomb deep beneath the unforgiving desert, an ancient princess, whose destiny was unjustly taken from her, is awakened, bringing with her malevolence grown over millennia and terrors that defy human comprehension. From the sweeping sands of the Middle East through hidden labyrinths under modern-day London, wonder and thrills abound as a new world of gods and monsters arises. This new version of the popular story signals the launch of Universal Pictures’
re-imagined series of monster-movies and takes the story in a completely different direction with action-packed, adrenaline-fuelled adventure.

Wonder Woman (10–12PG V)

DC Comics’ Wonder Woman has been seen in various TV series and movies over the past few decades, but she made her official big-budget cinema debut in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, last year. Wonder Woman is now Princess Diana’s own movie, and what a spectacular, action-filled blockbuster it is! Before she was Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. She was raised on a sheltered island paradise, and, when an American pilot (Chris Pine) crashes onto their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside Man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers and her true destiny.
