This Christmas will have a rippling effect

Ripple Reading has done it again, successfully hosting their second annual Christmas party.

Ripple Reading is a reading centre with the goal of empowering as many children as they can by teaching them how to read.

This year Christmas has brought tidings of goodwill and joy to the Blair Atholl Farm School.

A massive number of 744 children attended the fun-filled event. The children were treated to a number of fun activities, including face painting, nail art, football, netball and baking.

There was no shortage of food, gifts or love, with the Ripple Reading volunteers catering to the children’s every need.

“The volunteers, organisers and sponsors did a remarkable job of making Ripple Reading’s Christmas party the success it was,” said Riana Robinson from Ripple Reading.

“Most importantly, it was these children who made the day a possibility.

“They came and poured out their love on everyone who came into contact with them, adding value to the life of each person who served them.”

The Ripple Reading team thanked all the sponsors for their continued support.

“Without your sponsorships throughout the year we would not be able to help others in need,” she said.

This festive fun day was recently sponsored by several corporate companies and individuals who are investing in the growing Ripple Reading initiative.
